Wow…one hundred and twenty-six songs in a row without a break in the action for six hours straight. This was the party to end all parties as far as the Hovercraft Project goes. What is the Hovercraft Project you ask?  I need to write an essay on it. But what follows below are photos from September 2003 through May 2004.  Most of the photos were taken by resident artiste and the creator of the Hovercraft Project Ms. Layne Sterling (except for the photos that she’s in).  These pictures tell a bit of the story.  Opening Night Reception was Friday, September 19, 2003 at 3643 1/2 Sixth Avenue, San Diego, CA.  Channel 51 was there the night before and then there was Henry Diltz, 23 different artists from San Diego & San Francisco and 249 other witnesses before the night was out…
