This is the second of three times that I saw Journey.  The first time was with the original quartet before Steve Perry joined when they opened for Boston [05.03.77].  By this point [1982] they are a thoroughly different band with only two of the same band members [guitarist Neal Schon & bassist Ross Valory]. Seeing them perform this show in support of the Escape album was highly enjoyable at the time.  What did I know, I was seventeen.  By the time I saw Journey on the Frontiers tour [August of ’83] I was kinda done with them.  My tastes were changing; MTV killed this band for me.
