Our fifth [& final] gig.  We played three consecutive Saturday nights in a row in October 1980…I think that the writing was on the wall about the future of our band, which is that we didn’t have one. My remembrance of times past is that David Kastl (our guitarist who was quickly turning into a wiz kid) was becoming bored with the type of material that we were playing and he wanted a band of musicians who had greater proficiency on their instruments.  AC/DC and Ted Nugent were not doing it for him. He soon joined up with yet ANOTHER set of brothers, the Diekmieiers (with younger brother Tom on drums and Bob on bass) and started a band called EXODUS.  They started playing Wrathchild and War Pigs and YYZ and thinking they were heavy.   It would be almost a year before Bob, Jim and I joined up with Jerry Pixley on guitar and played a one off gig as No Trespassing.

Blitzkrieg is Jon Kanis [vocals], David Kastl [electric guitar], James Atkinson [electric guitar], Jim McNabb [Fender bass], Bob Kastl [drums]
